Bethan White is a baroque oboist from London. After reading Music at the University of Cambridge, she studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Katharina Spreckelsen. As principal oboist of the Academy’s baroque orchestra, Bethan has performed for the Kohn Foundation Bach Cantata series with musicians including Masaaki Suzuki.

Bethan has played with some of the UK’s leading historically-informed orchestras, including the Dunedin Consort, Gabrieli Consort and Brook Street Band. She performs regularly with Music for a While, directed by Margaret Faultless. Recent engagements include a performance as a soloist at Wigmore Hall directed by Rachel Podger, and a recital at Spitalfields Music Festival.
